This week, Youth Pastor Kel Mitchell of Spirit Food Christian teaches a message titled “Healed People Heal People”. Pastor Kel starts this teaching by talking about the hurt that many of us experience in our lives. He talks about the importance of talking about these issues with God and with others. Keeping these emotions inside can have a very destructive effect on ourselves and on other people. However, hurt is temporary when we decide to work on our healing. Pastor Kel shares several scriptures that teach us this and shares a story from his own personal experience about a time when he was overcome with hurt and how it changed his life. He goes on to explain how by allowing God to operate on us, we can overcome the hurt and be healed, and how healed people can heal others who are going through similar challenges.
