The Christian Family – Part 9

This week, Pastor Garry D. Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian in Winnetka continues teaching on the subject of “The Christian Family”. In this part of the message, Pastor Zeigler teaches us about the household of faith. The Bible tells us that we are saved by grace, through faith. Our salvation doesn’t come from our own actions or works. We are instructed to walk by faith and not by sight, where in this context, sight is referring to our five physical senses. Pastor Zeigler then expands on this concept and teaches how this relates to our physical bodies and how they can affect our feelings and thinking. We need to be mindful about acting on our feelings and never lose sight of the fact that we are spiritual beings. We must bring our worldly bodies into subjection as we walk by faith.
