The Gospel of John: According to John – Part 12

Minister Grace Mebane from Spirit Food Christian Center in Winnetka, California returns to continue teaching her message titled “The Gospel of John: According to John”. This week Minister Mebane continues to explain that the deity of Christ can be seen in 7 different “I am” statements. She continues teaching on the fifth “I am” statement “I am the Resurrection” found in John 11:25. We begin going through John chapter 13 which has to do with Christ as a servant. If he was a servant then we are to be servants as well. Christ came to serve not to be served and we should adopt that same attitude in all things, as we read through chapter 13 where Jesus washes the disciples feet it shows us how humble he was. It was a display of his servant hood. Matthew 20:28 is a perfect example of who Jesus is. Let your light shine through servant hood, Jesus is our model of that.
