“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
Deuteronomy 30:19
I’m sure we’ve all seen at least one movie, TV show, or book about zombies. We know that most times they are depicted as having flesh that is rotted. They wander around cities aimlessly, crying out in wordless torment. The most interesting thing about zombies, is that when they sense the presence of a living person, they run after him or her with the intention of devouring that person’s brain.
Just like the world has been desensitized to the devil, dressing up like a version of the image that has been sold to the world as Satan, there is also a form of trickery going on in the area of zombies, or, “The Walking Dead.”
To be spiritually dead is to be disconnected from our Father, God in heaven. It is so important for us to stay connected in faith to the Father once we are saved so that we are not ignorant to the wiles of the devil. We cannot allow “The Walking Dead” to devour our brains with vain philosophy and deceit (Colossians 2:8).
