The title “Why we pray for the lost” speaks from Proverbs 11:30.
Proverbs 11:30 reads, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. The Hebrew word for “winneth” is laqach, which means to bring in, to draw in, to receive.
In Matthew 18:11 and Luke 19:10 Jesus says “The son of man came to seek and to save the lost”, and we should be of the same mind and character.
