It Takes Faith to Raise a Child – Part 1

This week Pastor Garry Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian Center in Winnetka teaches a new message titled “It Takes Faith to Raise a Child”. The foundational scripture for this message is Psalm 127.  There is an old saying that is commonly used, “It takes a village to raise a child”.  In fact, it takes faith to raise a child.  Pastor Zeigler looks at this message in the context of the Christian family.  It is the family that is the nucleus of the Kingdom of God.  As believers, if we line up and our families are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, then the Christian walk will gain more widespread acceptance in the world.  Psalm 127:1 says “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” – this underlines the importance of the Lord’s involvement in the building and development of our own families. Don’t miss this powerful message, and be sure to watch the other messages in this series on our YouTube Channel.
