It Takes Faith to Raise a Child – Part 3

This week Pastor Garry Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian Center in Winnetka continues teaching his message titled “It Takes Faith to Raise a Child”. The foundational scripture for this message is Psalm 127. Pastor Zeigler starts by reviewing some of the key principles already covered in this series. He then goes on to talk in detail about the relationship between King David and Bathsheba. Specifically, Pastor Zeigler talks about how David first encountered Bathsheba, and her subsequent willingness to accept his advances. We learn about the deceptive plot that David had to conceal the adultery committed by Bathsheba, and how he attempted to create a situation with Bathsheba’s husband to make it appear plausible that her husband was the father of her unborn child. We also learn how David came full circle and repented.
