This week Pastor Garry Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian Center in Winnetka continues teaching about spiritual growth with a message titled “Faith is an Action”. The foundational scripture for this message is Mark 11:25. If God is to move on our behalf, then He will only do so as a result of some action that we have taken which is inline with our belief and inline with God’s word. In the Bible, we see that changes in circumstances are always the result of some type of action that has been taken. In the foundational scripture we see that changes did not occur to the fig tree until after Jesus had spoken to it. Fundamentally, we’re told to have faith in God but not only that, it means that we must be in possession of the God type of faith or the faith of God.
