Tongues: Encouraged or Discouraged? Part 2

This week Pastor Garry D. Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian Center in Winnetka continues teaching his message titled “Tongues: Encouraged or Discouraged?” The foundational text for this message is 1 Corinthians 14. All that God has given us through His word is to bring about victory in our lives. We must follow the instructions we have been provided in order to see the victory manifest in our lives.  We must be consistent and steadfast in our application of what is written, and our labor will not be in vain.  Scripture has not been given for private interpretation, rather it is scripture which interprets scripture. That means that peoples’ opinions, past experiences, or anything else which influences their thinking should not be allowed to support a position which is contrary to the final authority of God’s word.
