It’s My Desire to Be Like You

This week, Pastor Garry D. Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian Center teaches a message titled “It’s My Desire to Be Like You”.  In our lives as Christians, we’re not supposed to be trying to find our own way. We are always told to “just be yourself” – but who are we really?  Are we sovereign beings?  We are unable to come up with anything original, our thoughts and ideas come do not originate from our own minds.  Instead, we have be designed to follow God’s influence. The Devil also understands this and realizes that in order for him to accomplish anything in the earth realm, he must influence man and have man carry out the work. That’s why it’s so important that we develop our relationship with Jesus, and desire to be like him so that his influence shapes our lives.
