“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; ye, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Isaiah 41:10
If you have ever seen magnets, you will notice that if they are facing one direction, they will actually attract each other very powerfully. However, if you turn it around, then they will actually repel each other. Faith and Fear work the same way. If you are operating in fear, then like a magnet, you are attracting the thing you fear into your life. However, if you operate in faith, then it’s like taking that magnet and turning it around so that it will actually repel those negative things away from you.
Faith, like a magnet will attract what you are having faith for to you. Also like a magnet, it will repel those negative things away from you. Even when the enemy does attack or try to put a challenging circumstance on you, as you operate in faith, it will repel those negative situations and attract those things for which you are having faith.
In Job 3:25 he says: “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”
Fear is toxic. Fear is basically faith in the enemy’s power to harm you instead of faith in God’s ability and desire to bless you. You may say: “How do I over come fear?” Fear is actually a spirit. You choose as an act of your will to not fear. You decree the promises of God over yourself and command fear to go in Jesus name. The emotion may still be present. However, as you press into God and choose to read and hear His Word, then faith will increase in your heart. The good news is that every born again believer has the measure of faith deposited into their hearts. Every born again believer has faith! However, we must protect and feed that faith.
Proverbs 4:23 says: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
We must guard our heart concerning what we see, what we hear and what we meditate on in our thought life. Our heart is our spirit, it is who we really are. Turn off the news, the social media and anything else in your life that is producing fear or anger. Instead, turn on the word of God. Spend time praising and worshipping the Lord. If you start to fear, that is an indication that your battery of faith may need to be charged. It also is an indication that you may not be walking in love towards others as you are called to. Faith works by love. If you are allowing anger or malice to arise in your heart about others, whether you feel justified or not, then that will quickly choke your faith. God is love. Faith operates by love. Do not allow anger or bitterness to take residence in your thought life or heart for even a moment. Choose to supercharge your faith with total immersion in the word of God. As you do, faith will increase and fear will go. If you find yourself in fear, do not fear! Simply press into God. Faith will surely rise in your heart! It’s already in there, simply tap into it and supercharge that faith! As you meditate on the scriptures that speak on the goodness of God and how much you are loved by Him, it will increase your faith. When you get the revelation that you are God’s very own child and you are precious in His sight, then your faith will grow exponentially. God loves you. It is His desire to bless you! He wants to bless you more than you want to be blessed! Simply come into agreement with Him concerning His plan for your life. Only allow yourself to speak and say those things that line up with God’s word for your life. Do not speak negative. Do not agree with the devil with your words about yourself or others. Instead, speak life. Speak God’s word over yourself and your situation. As you hear yourself speaking God’s promises only, then faith will arise in your heart. Romans 10:17 “so then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Anything you have need of, He has already provided for you. Trust Him for His goodness. He is truly a good Father! He is a faithful Father! He loves you!
Mathew 17:20
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
1 John 5:4
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
Luke 12:32
“Fear not little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
1 John 4:18
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
