The Mask

This week, Youth Pastor Kel Mitchell of Spirit Food Christian Center teaches a message titled “The Mask”.  In Luke chapter 12:2 we learn that nothing is covered up that will not be revealed or known. Pastor Kel spends some time talking about the film, ‘The Mask’, and how when the character in the film wears the mask, his behavior changes and his deepest desires are revealed. Since we’re in a global pandemic, many of us are now wearing physical masks. However, long before that many of us were also wearing proverbial masks, covering our true feelings and desires. Pastor Kel teaches us from the scriptures, that if we delight ourselves in the Lord, that He will give us the desires of our heart. Nothing remains hidden or masked from God.
