Currently serves on staff at Spirit Food Christian Center as Pastoral Assistant and Dean of Students of the School of Biblical Instructions [SOBI] under the leadership of Pastor Garry D. Zeigler in Winnetka, CA for the past 18/17 years. She teaches the New Members’ Class, Oversees process for members to become involved in Helps Ministry, acts as Adviser to the Personal Ministries Department, Prayer Department, and Senior (“Seen Years”) Department. Also, she is a graduate of Crenshaw Christian Center’s “Ministry Training Institute” (MTI) and served in the following capacities as a member of CCC for 20 years: Personal Ministries Counselor and Teacher, Teacher Assistant and Instructor of MTI, and a “MAP” Minister. In addition, she served in public education for 31 years as a Special Education Teacher, a Prayer Counselor at “TBN” for five (5) years, and taught a weekly Bible Study at Terminal Island Federal Correctional Institution for six (6) years. Minister Mebane received a “Masters Degree” from the University of Southern California [USC] and a “Bachelors Degree” from Tennessee State University of Nashville. She has one adult daughter, Char Vel.
