“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
Any good parent understands how precious and valuable their children are. There is nothing that can compare to the love they have for their children and they would do just about anything for them. If a child needs something, they will move heaven and earth to provide it. God gave us that which was most precious to Him…His Son. He gave us His own Son to die on our behalf, to suffer like the worst sinner to ever live, and to pay the price in the pit of Hell. He did this for us when we were still in our sins and were separated from Him. He did this because it was the only way we could be reconciled to Him and become His very own children. He did this because He loves us. Once we have received Christ as our savior, we have now become God’s very own children. We are now in covenant with the most high God and entitled to all the blessings of the covenant! We are now His Beloved! How much more He wants to do for us now that we are His own Beloved children!
Romans 5:9-10 says: “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
Romans 5:17-19 says: “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one [Adam]; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
Many of us know the story of Abraham and Sarah who were barren and yet God had promised them that Abraham would be the Father of many nations. Finally when Sarah was ninety and Abraham was one hundred, the promise was fulfilled and they had their son Isaac. You can imagine how they must have felt; believing God for so many years for a child and finally having it come to pass. Then in Genesis 22:2 God spoke to Abraham and said: “Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.” Abraham obeyed God, and after he had bound Isaac to the wood and the alter and lifted the knife to slay him, the angel of the LORD stopped Abraham saying in Genesis 22:12, “Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.” Of course God provided the ram in the thicket for the sacrifice and Abraham did not harm his son. Yet, God’s own Son became the sacrificial lamb for us. Abraham didn’t have to sacrifice his son for God, but God sacrificed His own Son for us.
In Isaiah 49:15 & 16 the scripture says: “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.”
Think about that, far before Jesus ever was crucified, it talks about how God will not forget us because He has “engraved us on the palms of His hands”.
In fact, God thinks about us so much that He says in Isaiah 65:23-24: “They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
God has already made provision for whatever you need before you even ask Him. Much like when we have children and we go to an outing during the day when it is warm, but we know that it will get cold later, so we pack an extra sweater or blanket for our children. Then later in the day when the child says they are cold and asks for something to wear, we’ve already made provision for them.
God does that for us, in everything we can imagine. Nothing can come against us that He hasn’t already made provision for. God knows what we will need before we even realize it, and He already provides the answer before we even ask.
Romans 8:31 says it this way: “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
When we get the revelation of how much God loves us, we realize we can never fail. Why? Because Love never fails! When we get the revelation of how much we are loved by God, then we are much more able to love others because He first loved us. When we walk in love we never fail because “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 (NKJV)
Psalm 139:17 says: “How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!”
In talking about the wonderful miracles and promises of God that He has done, Psalm 107:43 says: “Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.”
When we get the revelation of how much God loves us, then we can’t be defeated. We will always win. Why? Because we won’t take no for an answer. If we need healing in our bodies, we will understand it’s God’s will for us to be healed because He loves us, so of course healing is ours! We just keep our confession of faith. If we are believing for finances, or anything else God has placed as a desire in our heart, then we won’t give up, we will keep believing because we understand God’s faithfulness to us. If He didn’t even withhold His own Son from us, why would He withhold the car we need, or anything else for that matter? Have faith in God’s love for you! He is a wonderful and perfect Dad! Is anything too hard for Him? No!
Again, if you question God’s will regarding healing or finances, all you have to do is look at Jesus. Jesus said in John 14:9 “…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” He says in John 10:30 “I and my Father are one.” Therefore, if you want to know who God is, then look at Jesus. If you want to know God’s will for you, look at Jesus. Is it God’s will for you to be healed? Look at Jesus, did He ever say no to anyone who asked Him for healing? No, He did not. Everyone who asked Him received. Therefore, of course it is God’s will to heal you. He and Jesus are one. When you see Jesus, you see the Father.
He also said in Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” When John the Baptist was imprisoned and began to question if Jesus really was the Christ and sent messengers to ask Him, Jesus responded in Luke 7:22-23 “Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”
Indeed, during His ministry on earth Jesus did all these things. Everyone who asked Jesus for healing received their healing. Everyone who asked for deliverance, received their deliverance. Those who needed grace and mercy, received grace and mercy. When they needed physical provision, whether food or money, he miraculously provided it. He taught the people how to have the God kind of Faith in order to get God’s results. Time and again He said “Your faith has made you well.” As long as they had faith that He could heal them, or deliver them, whatever they had need of, if they had faith, they received. He then taught the disciples how to do the same, and let them know in John 14:12-14: “Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
Yes, that’s right, because of the covenant we have entered, our faith in Christ and receiving the infilling of the Holy Spirit, we can do what Jesus did. He gets glory when we ask and receive from Him. Oh what a covenant we have! Oh what a Father we have! Oh what precious promises we have! Oh how God loves us! We are His precious and Beloved Children. If God be for us, who can be against us!! Therefore let’s have faith in God’s love and bring heaven to earth! Let’s have God’s will be done on earth, as it is in heaven in our lives and the lives of others by trusting in His love for us and walking in steadfast faith!
3 John 1:2
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Psalm 92:1-2
“IT is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.”
Romans 8:33-39
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather; that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us form the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Ephesians 3:14-21
“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
