“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Romans 10:9-10
Notice in the above scripture how to obtain salvation. It is simple. You must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord. If you don’t believe in your heart but say it with your mouth, you are not saved. Likewise if you say it with your mouth but don’t believe in your heart, you are not saved. In order for salvation to occur both must happen! You must say it with your mouth AND believe it in your heart.
This is the formula in the kingdom of God for receiving anything from God. Jesus said in Mark 11:22-25:
“…Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
Notice, mountain moving faith is simple. You say with your mouth what you want and believe in your heart that it is done. It will then come to pass. You must do both. You must say what it is you desire based on the promises of God AND believe it will come to pass. Getting results is simple. You believe it, and you say it. Of course it must line up with the word of God and be based on the promise of God.
Who does this great faith apply to? What does the scripture say above? Does it say if you are an Apostle, Pastor, or an evangelist or called to the five fold ministry? No. It says “Whosoever”. That covers anyone who is willing to believe.
Sometimes people think that some just naturally have greater faith than others. However what does the bible say? In Romans 12:3 it says: “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think: but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
God has given every believer in Christ the same measure of faith. Yet we can clearly see from the scriptures that some were commended for having “great faith” while others were told they had “little faith.” How does this happen you may ask?
Romans 10:17 says: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Just as in order to build your natural muscles you must work out, weight lift and spend time building your muscles to gain strength; the same is true with the faith muscle. We must hear the word, read the word and say the word to build our faith. The more we hear and say the word the more our faith increases. We then must act on what we have heard and as we do, God will confirm His word with signs following.
Therefore, find the promise of God concerning your situation. Continue to build your faith on that promise. Refuse to say anything but that which lines up with the promise. Do not keep saying the circumstance. Say only what you want to come to pass in line with the promise of God. As you do, faith rises and grows and increases. You keep building your faith and building your faith until Faith explodes in your heart, you are fully persuaded and you confess with your mouth and it manifests. It is done! Expect instant results. However, if you don’t see instant results don’t let that move you. God’s word will come to pass. The moment you prayed it and believed it, it was done. It doesn’t matter if it manifests instantly or takes days, weeks, months or even years to manifest. It will come to pass!
It takes discipline to do this. When things are going contrary to the promise in your life it takes discipline to not say what you feel or the negative report but to hold fast to the promise of God without wavering. When you walk in great faith you are simply believing that God means what He says. You are believing what God has to say about the matter more than what the circumstances say. Just as it says about Abraham in Romans 4:21: “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelieve; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, he was able also to perform.”
You must not take no for an answer. No matter what happens no matter what you see, you keep saying what God says. “MY GOD Shall supply all my need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus”. “All things work for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.” Therefore this situation is working for my good. It doesn’t matter what it looks like. God says it is working for my good so it IS WORKING FOR MY GOOD!” Keep thanking God for it working for your good.
Whatever negative things you have spoken over yourself, family or children in the past year, repent and ask God for forgiveness. Determine that in 2019 you will choose to only say what God says about the matter. That no negative word or confession will come out of your mouth. Only the promise of God. Then watch as God moves mightily on your behalf! And of course, above all, walk in Love. If you have ought against any, forgive, for faith works by love!! If you need help in your love walk then start confessing 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a over yourself. Have faith for your love to grow!

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelieve; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”
