“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
Mark 11:22-24
This above scripture illustrates how we receive anything in our lives. It is the same formula used for salvation. Romans 10:8-10 says: “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
The same formula for salvation is the same formula that works for everything else we desire in life. Believe in your heart and say with your mouth and you will have it. This is what Jesus is showing us in Mark 11:22-24. Whether the mountain we need to move is healing in our body or being debt free, the solution is to believe in our heart and confess with our mouth and we will have it come to pass. When we speak the word in faith, there is great mountain moving power.
Words are carriers of faith or fear and become the blueprint to our future. Whatever we keep hearing, is what will be deposited in our hearts and minds. If we keep speaking and hearing the word of God, then it builds faith in us for His promises to come to pass. However, if we keep speaking fear, lack and the circumstances, that builds faith in us for more lack, more fear and more of the same. “…so then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” Romans 10:17 What you say out of your own mouth, you hear with your ears. Make sure you are speaking what you want, not what you don’t want. If you keep speaking lack, you are building a lack mindset in yourself and now your faith is geared to believe for lack. However, if you change your conversation to say God’s promises instead, then that will build up your faith for God’s will to be done in your life. “Let them shout for joy and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” Psalm 35:27 As you keep hearing yourself say that God wants you to prosper, then you begin to go in the direction of prosperity and you deposit and build a picture of prosperity in your heart and mind.
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28
God’s Word is a container that is a carrier of faith. It is the blueprint to your future.
Vocabulary.com dictionary describes a blueprint as: “A guide for making something – it’s a design or pattern that can be followed…”
Words are not only blueprints, but they are containers that release the potential you have in this earth. By faith, God used his Word to create the Universe. He spoke and it was so. Genesis 1:24 says: “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.” Everything that was created in the natural first came from the spiritual by the Word of God and it still remains today. We still have cattle and various animals in the earth just as God said. His word was the container that carried everything necessary within it to bring it to pass. God spoke, and it was so. This same principle works for us. We are created in the image of God. The universe was created to respond to the Word. Whether we like it or not, we live by words. The question is, what words are you living by?
Words are the vehicles that take you where you want to go. If you wanted to go downtown, you would get in your vehicle and go. If you have a car in your garage and you sat around saying how much you want to go downtown, but refused to get in your car and go, then you are the one stopping yourself from getting there. What do you need to do? You need to get in your car and go. The same is true with your words. Whatever direction your words are going is where your life will soon follow. Your words are the vehicle that drive you to your destination. Therefore, make sure you are saying only what you want to come to pass. Whether it is over your children, your marriage, your finances, or your health; choose to only speak life. If you want to see victory in every area of your life, then from this day forward commit to saying only what you hear your Father (God) say and then let His Word do the work.
John 14:10-11
“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and that the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
John 12:49-50
“For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
Proverbs 18:21
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Mathew 12:35-37
“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”
Psalm 50:23
“Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.”
Psalm 91:2
“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
