As a new year begins, it is common to make new year resolutions and/or set goals to accomplish. Most times these goals are career or financially motivated to put us in a better position than we were last year. Goal setting is great! As it says in Habakkuk 2:2 ,“Write a plan and make it clear,” but let’s not lose focus of what our ultimate goal should be. In Philippians 3:14 Paul says, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” When we move forward with purpose having tunnel vision on Christ, knowing the character of God and His word, the journey toward our final destination will be a blessed one, “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” While you make plans for your future, make sure that God is first because it is He that has already made the plan and the way. When God is able to use you fully you will see that He has done exceedingly abundantly above all that you may’ve asked or thought by the power that works in you.
Allow yourself to be blessed and be a blessing
