This week, Pastor Garry D. Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian teaches a message titled “Are You in the School of Faith?”. The Bible is identified as the Word of Faith. Therefore, if individuals are learning things outside of the Word of God, those things will not contribute to your faith. We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Pastor Zeigler shares one of his personal experiences about an experiment that took place in one of his college classes. Although he didn’t know it at the time, the results of this experiment were rigged. This was done purposefully to illustrate the impact of the preconceived societal notions that exist pertaining to different ethnic groups. He discusses how this impacted his thinking at the time, and how through studying God’s word he was able to build his own faith and change his thinking.
