This week, Pastor Garry D. Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian in Winnetka teaches a message titled “Communion the Bible Way”. This message is related in part to Pastor Zeigler’s messages about the Christian Family and Angels. In this teaching, we learn that the blood of Jesus has the power to redeem us. This is not the same thing as atonement that we see in the Old Testament where an animal sacrifice would be offered. However, the redemption available to us must be received by faith. We cannot deny that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and go to heaven. It is written that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. Jesus was the first human to come from spiritual death to spiritual life. We take communion in remembrance of Jesus. His body is represented by the bread, and his blood is represented by the wine, which is a non-alcoholic juice. Watch as Pastor Zeigler goes into depth on this subject in this instructional message.
