This week, Youth Pastor Kel Mitchell of Spirit Food Christian teaches a message titled “First a Warning, then Comes Encouragement”. This teaching follows his last message about healing. When we work on our healing, we can be able to stop repeating destructive patterns, break generational curses, and prevent the enemy from stealing our joy and our influence. As we work on our healing, we must also be intentional about following and trusting Christ. There are numerous scriptures in the Bible that start with a warning about things that can and will happen. In the natural world, we will have troubles that we will have to overcome. However, we can also be encouraged because we know that Jesus has already overcome the world. In this message, Pastor Kel looks at these scriptures, and shares from his own personal experiences ways that we can practically apply what we learn from these teachings.
