The Christian Family – Part 8

This week, Pastor Garry D. Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian in Winnetka continues teaching on the subject of “The Christian Family”. In Galatians 6:10 we are instructed to do good unto all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith. As Christians in the household of faith, we are to look to Jesus as our example, and the more we look to Jesus the more we will be able to conform to his image. God is unable to move in our lives apart from faith. Everything starts with God’s word, and that means that whatever situation we encounter in life, we must look to God’s word to see what He has to say about it. Pastor Zeigler shares a personal example of this principle through a story of an experience he had as he was graduating from Bible school. The story that Pastor Zeigler shares illustrates how we can always look to God’s word for guidance, but it also underlines how it’s necessary for us to act on what is written by faith so that we might receive from God.
