This week, Pastor Garry D. Zeigler of Spirit Food teaches a special Christmas Day message titled “The Gift that God Gave Us”. At Christmas time, people think about giving gifts. Receiving a gift is a good thing; it’s something that is given that we can simply appreciate. It’s not something that we had to work for, all we need to do is receive it. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have been given the gift of salvation. It is written that it is by grace that we are saved through faith. An acronym for grace is God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense. In other words, salvation is a gift that we have been freely given that has been paid for by Jesus. The only requirement is that we receive this gift by faith. When we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we were all given the measure of faith. Watch as Pastor Zeigler teaches us more about faith from the scriptures.
