We Are Growing in Jesus

This week Pastor Garry Zeigler of Spirit Food Christian Center in Winnetka starts teaching a new message titled “We Are Growing in Jesus”. The foundational scripture for this message is 1 Peter 2:2. We are born again, meaning that we have the nature of God within us.  In effect, the “DNA” of our new birth is the Word of God.  The character of Jesus, acknowledged in God’s word, is now the same nature that we possess.  Our heart exudes God’s nature. We have been born of incorruptible seed, by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever.
